The Shoreham-Wading River Community Band is composed of a group of individuals who come together to share their love of music. We practice once a week, on Tuesdays from 7:30pm - 9:00pm, and give several performances throughout the year at various locations around Suffolk County. In addition to our regular series of free public concerts, we also perform at other public events and private performances for different communities.

The SWRC Band consists entirely of volunteers who receive no monetary compensation for their time and efforts. The joy of playing music for an enthusiastic crowd is all the compensation we personally need, and your presence at our concerts is the best support you can give! However, running the band is not free, as costs associated with items such as rehearsal space and music must still be paid. As all of our concerts are ofered free of admission, we rely greatly on the support of our generous sponsors and donations from grateful audience members.
